Observation Site 3

Observation Site 3!

Ms. Adventurous (Hali Goad) went down by the creek waters to find Raccoon tracks at site #3! From her perspective the tracks looked fresh and new!

We found a lot of holes in the ground and inferred that smaller living creatures made these holes there homes!

We thought maybe this also was another habitat for a small living organism.

We found another tree with bark off of it, and thought maybe another dear scraped this tree bark!

Our group found a really neat small hole in the bottom of a tree! This one definantly looked like an animal lived in it.

Observation Site 2

Pictures from Site 2!
Dive in the creek for a chill!
(not really!)
At this site we saw creeks of water running through the woods. There were various plants around the water. Most of the water was frozen so we couldnt get near it.

As stated in the first picture, there we various plants around the site #2 area. Moss was found alot around the area. The moss felt crunchy from being icy and snowy.

Observation Site 1

These are pictures from Site #1!

The bark of the tree looks to be worn away from the scrapings of a deer. As you can see from the picture, there is snow on the ground. It was quite chilly this day.

The nest in the picture above was found at the top of the tree. We didn't see any birds, just the nest. The reason we saw the nest was because the wind was blowing loudly that day and we looked up to see all the trees and leaves and watched them blow back and forth and happened to spot the nest in the tree above.

Our FANTASTIC group!!
